Cake Break

Although this wasn't a wedding I thought I could still write a great review! My parents had rented our yearly beach rental over Labor Day weekend which also happened to be their 50th Anniversary. Cake Break didn't blink an eye with our last minute order for cupcakes!! They turned out amazing and even gave us a display table with multiple tiers for our little celebration. The personalization of a few of the cupcakes for our parents made it just that more special. Thanks again!!!

I can't say enough about Debbie and Cake Break. Not only are the cupcakes delicious, they look fantastic. Debbie spent well over an hour with me the day of my tasting and decorated cupcakes on the spot so I knew exactly what I'd be getting. She handled the delivery, set up and decoration and went out of her way in every regard. When I presented her with an unusual request for a Groom's cake, Debbie loved the idea and created what I had in mind, only better. We had five cupcake options in addition to the cake and I'm still hearing about how delicious it all was.

My husband and I knew that we wanted to have cupcakes for our big day, and luckily for us, Cake Break, had just recently opened up in Rehoboth Beach, DE. When we stopped in the store, we were greeted by Debbie, owner (along with her husband) of Cake Break. Although we walked in without an appointment, Debbie was more than willing to speak with us about our big day and sent us home with a delicious sampling of cupcakes! For the actual big day, my husband and I chose the vanilla cupcakes with vanilla butter cream icing and the chocolate Guinness cupcakes with Irish cream butter cream icing. The cupcakes were adorned with gold starfish and seashells, and Cake Break set them up beautifully in our venue location. Our guests loved the cupcakes and Cake Break was great to work with. If you are in the Rehoboth area, stop by yourself and check them out--you won't be sorry! Can't wait until our 1 year anniversary--the cake is waiting for us in our freezer. Yummm!
