David Zipse, virtuoso pianist

I had a lot of demands for my wedding, and David has managed to not only meet but also exceed my expectations in almost every aspect. I'd asked him to play the piano during the bridal party entrance, and he managed to do just that...and also adapt and modulate the song in time with each announcement to create excitement and anticipation. I'd asked him to play a special song to accompany a PowerPoint presentation, and he was able to adjust and play the song so that it ended perfectly with the last slide, even despite the technical difficulties we had with the show. He alleviated many of my worries during the planning process, and my wedding was a complete success! Thank you so much, David!

I couldn’t be happier than to recommend David Zipse. He is the definition of a professional – from his talent to the way he does business to his demeanor both prior to and during our wedding. My wife wanted to enter to Clocks by Coldplay, a song David added to his repertoire just for our wedding. He even got the sheet music for a few other songs we requested and told us how excited he was to play them – what a positive attitude! Our ceremony space did not have a piano so he provided his own keyboard, and listened to our wish he make it sound like a piano and not synthetic. Then he transitioned upstairs to the hall’s baby grand without a problem. He was able to play a mix of every style from traditional/classical to jazz standards to poppy piano like Billy Joel, Elton John, even music from Charlie Brown and interpretations of mainstream rock songs like Journey and Coldplay. David dressed the part in black tux, was extraordinarily friendly, always answered his phone, responded quickly via e-mail (even at 1 am) and offered multiple options for payment. And speaking of payment, he was less expensive than almost everyone else we contacted. Even our wedding guests with a musical background commented on how well everything sounded. Really, what more could one ask for?

We hired David and his bandmate Chuck to play at our wedding ceremony. They were more wonderful than I could have imagined. I very much enjoyed going to hear their band Good Foot play before we hired them, and David came over to say hello and was very friendly. He was extremely responsive - responding to emails almost immediately, and always very positively, friendly, and very accommodating. He had good recommendations, and the songs I requested that he did not know, he found music for and learned them. He also allowed a family member who was singing solos at our wedding to use all of his equipment. I thought this was very generous. He also went to meet with our ceremony site coordinator beforehand to make sure they had the right equipment and set up. Very reliable, professional, flexible, responsive, and excellent quality service at a reasonable cost! I would definitely hire David and Chuck again.

David was our wedding ceremony pianist and was so great to work with. He was flexible on both time, travel, and pricing. He delivered everything we asked for and made suggestions where appropriate. Played exactly what we wanted, which including learning a few new pieces. Highly reccomended.

I highly recommend David Zipse for piano / keyboard music for any wedding ceremony. From the first phone call, email to the day of the wedding, David was extremely professional, responsive and flexible to our wedding music needs. We gave him some songs that he wasn't as familiar with and he took the time to look them up and learn them for our wedding. He always took the time to get back to us when we needed to contact him and on the day of the wedding, he show up ready and on time. He did a wonderful job and we have nothing but good things to say about his work.

David was great about accommodating all my requests. He was even willing to accompany my own singer. I heard only rave reviews of him after my ceremony and he played everything so well.
