Made Ya Look Salon & Spa

They were so great. I went in for a trial and booked them. We went in the day before to get our nails done, they did such a great job and the salon is such a cool, relaxing atmosphere. On my wedding they came to the hotel with their own photographer, our hair and makeup was beautiful. I highly recommend them for your event....

I would highly recommend this salon for all your needs on your wedding day. Jen was a pleasure to work with and worked with my entire wedding party to accomodate everyone. They got us in and out of the salon on time. The stylists were friendly and professional.

From my emails with Jen to the service I received the day before and the day of my wedding, my experiences with Made Ya Look were great. I made an appointment for my nails, changed the time, added appointments for friends/family - they made it all easy. For my hair, I just brought in a picture of what I wanted and the stylist did an even better job than I envisioned. The staff was friendly and made my appointments relaxing and enjoyable.

All appointments were on time. My hair and makeup was fantastic and so were all of my girls. Everyone was very happy with their stylist and the experience. It was very relaxing and fun. My stylist Dena was phenomenal.

Jen was wonderful to work with. She made it easy to coordinate 9 girls with different treatments- and she put up with our numerous changes! Once we were there, everyone working there could not have been nicer. They seemed genuinely interested in the wedding and all of my girls and my mom looked fabulous! My dad brought us food while we were there and they even set up a table for us. So sweet! I really loved how both my hair and my makeup turned out! (I was actually married on Nov 13, 2010- I can't seem to change it on Wedding Wire.)

First let me mention Jen - the wedding coordinator... She is awesome. I planned my wedding in Delaware from Florida so I had to do everything over the phone and through email. I only gave her about a 6 week notice but she was quick to respond to any questions I had. She booked a trial for me the week of the wedding, mani/pedis for me/my sisters/mom/aunt the day before and hair appointments for me, my six bridesmaids, both moms and my aunt for the wedding day. Once we got into town a few of the bridesmaids also decided they wanted pedicures and she was able to work them in as well. They had a great bridal day package for about $7 a person that included muffins, cookies, fruit and mimosas. There was an awesome spread set out for us and Jen consistently walked around, checking on not only me, but my girls as well, getting us drinks and making sure everything was OK. She was a true professional and so great to work with. Everyone's hair turned out beautiful and held up all night long. We had a blast at the salon that day and all of the stylists were so fun to work with. It was a fantastic way to start the day.

The only problem that I had is they said for five of us to get our make-up and hair-down it would only take 1 and 1/2 hours but they ran behind schedule and took 2 hours, which caused me to be late getting back to my hotel where I was meeting my photographer and florist.

Made Ya Look Salon & Spa did a fabulous job on my hair and make-up and all of my bridesmaid's hair and make-up. Not only did they provide exceptional service, they even helped me find a new DJ when my band had double booked themselves! What a great and seamless experience we had! I found Made Ya Look online and wrote them to see if they could do our entire bridal party (bride, 3 bridesmaids, 1 MOB and 2 flower girls) at our house we were renting in Lewes. Jen was awesome to work with, she was very responsive and worked with me to get everything I wanted. We also had our makeup done that morning About three weeks before the wedding I went for my trial and worked with one of the stylists to come up with exactly what I wanted. The makeup was great too! The morning of they arrived at our rental on time with extra stylists and a bottle of champagne and orange juice (loved it!) and immediately got started...until the we blew a fuse!! After a minute of panic and rearranging we got down to business and everyone was ready to go in time. We all loved our hair and makeup, I felt the price was a bit high, but I'm also a cheapskate! The end result was well worth it, good hair and good makeup with champagne to boot!!

Made Ya Look was very quick to return phone calls and even fit in extra family member for a blow out. They listened carefully to suggestions about hair and makeup. I feel their prices are very high. Even the top salons in Newark and Wilmington do not charge as much as them.

Made Ya Look has such a cute salon. I love that they can do your hair and your make up and that they will travel (with an additional fee) to wherever you'd like them to be on your wedding day. They brought two hair stylists and a make up artist on my wedding day. Unfortunately, I wasn't that thrilled with my hair. After two hair trials I never really saw anything unique and thought most of it looked too "prom like". I felt like they were relying on my for ideas rather than me getting inspiration from them. Since the wedding day I've seen so many other styles that would have been more updated. Maybe a different stylist would have worked better. The price is not the best either, especially for the Delaware.
